Important: If for any reason you are unable to attend the meeting, please arrange for one of the co-authors of your abstract to give the oral presentation/be present by the poster during poster exhibitions, or else your abstract must be withdrawn. Please notify the Organizing committee as early as possible of such a replacement.

Instructions for Oral Presentations (free communications)

Please note that you will be given 10 minutes for presentation, followed by 5 minutes’ discussion. To help us with timely uploading of your PowerPoint presentation, please send it by e-mail to before Feb 16th. There will be opportunity to upload a second version at the meeting; bring your presentation on a memory stick and deliver it to the registration/technical support desk the morning of your presentation at the latest. The registration/technical support desk will be open Tuesday 16.30-19.30, Wednesday 8.00-9.00 and 11.50-13.00, Thursday 8.00-9.00 and 11.50-13.00. Guidelines for speakers; please keep the time limit, formulate a “take home message” and be careful not to overload power point slides with too much information.

Please note that key note speaker and invited speakers will be given longer presentations according to the programme.

Instructions for Poster Presentations

Put your poster up on the board marked with your “P” number given at registration. Your P-number will also be posted on our website and in the programme. Poster presentation sessions will be held during coffee- and lunch breaks in the exhibition area. You are expected be available beside your poster to discuss your work with the attendees at exhibition times. The poster size should be 90 cm (horizontal) x120 cm (vertical). At the top of your poster board prepare a label indicating your abstract title and authors’ names and affiliations. The lettering for this section should be at least 1 inch (2.54 cm) high. Note that text and illustrations should be readable from a distance. Keep illustrative material simple.
